DrScheme Jr is a text-based, interactive environment for developing programs using the Scheme programming language. DrScheme Jr runs under Windows 95/98/NT, MacOS, Unix, and BeOS.

DrScheme Jr is essentially DrScheme without the graphical environment. Its reduced resource requirements make it suitable for machines with relatively low available memory. Its smaller size allows it to load quickly, making it suitable for rapid prototyping.

DrScheme Jr includes DrScheme's language levels, ranging from ``beginner'' to ``advanced'', and all its language features.

DrScheme Jr provides special support for developing MzScheme applications.

System requirements: Windows 95/98/NT, MacOS, Unix, or BeOS. To run DrScheme Jr comfortably, your machine should have at least 16 MB of RAM and at least 24 MB of total memory. DrScheme Jr requires about 4 MB of disk space.

Download size is from 1.0 to 1.2 Mb, depending on platform. Disk usage is approximately 12 Mb.
