Version 101, October 29, 1999

DrScheme Jr is a text-based, interactive environment for teaching programming using the Scheme programming language. DrScheme Jr runs under Windows 95/98/NT, MacOS, and Unix.

DrScheme Jr is essentially DrScheme without the graphical environment, and it includes DrScheme's teaching language levels, ranging from Beginner to Advanced, plus the MzScheme language. Compared to DrScheme, DrScheme Jr's reduced resource requirements make it suitable for machines with relatively low available memory.
