- Show Sharing
Donkey can indicate sharing ,
circularity , and identical subparts (see
Section 6.3) within an expression. The Show
Sharing option enables/disables this facility and automatically
affects the evaluation area of the current block. If it is
disabled, sharing will be indicated only for circular values. It is
on by default. - Eval On Load
When loading a file with open (Section 4.1) or copying
multiple expression from the clipboard (Section 4.2),
this option causes each expression to be evaluated as it is placed
in a block. This is great if you don't want to evaluate every
expression by hand after loading a file. - Auto Extract
When single stepping, if an application of a globally defined
function is encountered, the application expression is extracted.
This provides a graphical representation of the call stack. - Hide Contexts
When first showing the context of a continuation, this option
indicates whether or not it should be hidden to save space. To see
the context, just click the mouse button in the box labeled ``Click
to View.'' See Section 6.2 for more information
about contexts. - Keep Finite History
Keep Finite History lets you set the number of
snapshots to be saved when stepping through an expression by moving
a slider to the appropriate value. - Keep All History
Keep All History is a checkbox which disables the Keep Finite
History slider and tells Donkey to not limit the amount of history
that is saved.
