This Manual

This manual describes MrEd for programmers developing MrEd applications, including:

MrEd's primitive GUI classes and classes defined by MrEd's system
MrEd's start-up and shut-down sequences
MrEd's high-level systems, such as editors, keymaps, and preferences

A more general overview of MrEd is provided in a separate document, About MrEd. To use this manual, the reader must already be familar the MzScheme language as described in the MzScheme Reference Manual. MrEd also uses the MzLib library of Scheme utilities distributed that are described in MzLib Reference Manual.

This manual was originally adapted from Reference Manual for wxWindows (Julian Smart, July 1995), wxMedia Class Reference Manual, and MrEd System Reference Manual.
