LRP sources

SunOS 4.1.3_U1

This is a distribution of source code for our prototype LRP system under SunOS. It is intended only for inspection. The distribution contains almost all the source files for the LRP system, but has a few licensed files missing. This means that you cannot build a runnable system from these sources. The missing files contain code that is not critical to understanding the LRP implementation.

FreeBSD 2.2-BETA

A buildable implementation of SOFT-LRP under FreeBSD is also available. This implementation requires the use of a slightly modified FreeBSD kernel. The LRP network subsystem is downloaded into the kernel as a loadable module. Click here to download the loadable module sources.

FreeBSD 4.0

Another implementation of SOFT-LRP in FreeBSD is available from this URL . In this implementation, Resource containers (and not Unix processes) are used as resource principals for performing LRP-styled network processing.
