FORTE'02 attendees will have wireless access to the Internet.
You need to bring your own notebook computer with 802.11b ("WiFi")
network hardware - usually a PC Card, such as an Lucent or Avaya card.
You need to configure your software for no WEP (encryption), and
to aquire its address from the network (DHCP). Further instructions,
including the username and password you need to register your
wireless equipment with the Rice network, will be available upon
your arrival at Rice.
A small number of terminals will be available for wired connection.
