CS Senior Caleb Voss wins NSF Graduate Research Fellowship
March 30, 2016
CS Senior Caleb Voss, mentored by Lydia Kavraki, won a 2016 NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. "It's great to have students like Caleb and faculty mentors like Lydia in our department, school, and institution!" said Vivek Sarkar, chair of the department.
Voss enjoys the creativity found in designing algorithms to solve problems. "You always start with a problem," he said. "Maybe it changes over time or takes on a life of its own, but there is always a goal you are working for. The amazing part about research is that you never quite reach that goal, there is always more to discover, more to explore." Read more details about his undergraduate research experience
