IRIS Student Workshop 2004

The second annual IRIS student workshop will be held at MIT on Nov. 7
and 8th. Submissions are requested of any student involved in the IRIS
project. In particular, the program committee requests submissions in
the areas of:
- Large-scale distributed systems
- Distributed Hash Tables: design, implementation, experience
- Applications of DHTs
- Theoretical results in the area of wide-area systems
- Measurement studies of existing peer-to-peer or wide-area systems
- Networking
Important dates:
- Submission: Oct. 27
- Notification: Nov. 1
- Workshop: Nov. 7,8
Submissions should consist of a brief (two paragraphs recommended, one
page maximum) description of research into an area related to the IRIS
project. Authors whose submissions are accepted will be expected to
prepare a 15-minute presentation or a poster describing their
research. Submissions need not describe unpublished work, but priority
will be given to novel material. All submissions should be sent in
plain text format or as a MIME-encoded PDF or PostScript file to
isw-2004@pdos.lcs.mit.edu. Submissions must be received by
Oct. 27. Notification of acceptance will be made on or before
