[Rice University]COMP 520: Distributed Systems



This course introduces principles of distributed computing. In addition, students will learn how to conduct a mini research project and how to communicate technical material effectively.

There is a substantial course project; and classroom participation is expected.

Credit hours: 4
Prerequisites: COMP421, or permission of instructor
Enrollment: Maximum 16, consent of instructor required.
