We went on this trip to the Big Bend National Park in summer 2001 and needless to say had a lot of fun. We were a bunch of 8 (Me, Deepanwita, Santa, Undy, Acp, Santanuda, Rajnish, and Gatu). We rented a 15 passenger vehicle and drove from Dallas to Big Bend, around a day's drive. You will find a small boy appearing in some photos; his mother told us that he is so bored with his life there that whenever he sees some strangers he does some tricks to attract them and to plead to take him away from there! I don't blame the boy at all. Big Bend is like "solitude - good place to visit, bad place to stay".
