There is an annual Blue Bonnet festival that takes place in Chappell Hill which is a small place around 5 miles west of Hempstead, TX on 290W. From Houston, this place is around 60 miles west on 290W. This is a very nice event with lots of different stores (and very little blue bonnets around). However, most of the flowers that you see on this page are actually on the road side. Deepanwita and I had gone there along with Arnab to shoot some Blue Bonnets but it was pretty windy preventing us from getting too many good shots.
