This is shot while hiking the Beach Mountain Trail, Acadia National Park, Maine, USA. July 2005. This national park is one of the better parks in the US with a good mix of ocean and mountains. The park is also very spread out. This picture in particular would have been better if the smaller leaves in the middle of the picture were not present. Nonetheless, I like the photograph very much.
