This is a lighthouse at the Acadia National Park, Maine. July 2005. The picture has been cropped from a larger image. Normally, I would have been able to frame the picture much better but I was shooting after sunset. Ever tried fiddling with different lenses and a tripod in a place infested with mosquitos ? Not very productive ! Besides, this is a 3.0 s long exposure, so some mosquitos did get the better of me, even with my wife waving wildly at the mosquitos.
