Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument, Washington, USA - 2003

This volcano erupted in 1980 and killed quite a few and more recently erupted in 2004, though no fatalities were reported this time around. After the 1980 eruption this area was converted to a national monument. Even now the path traced by the lava is clearly visible.
