About me:
I am a fourth year PhD student working in the Habanero Multicore Software Research Project. My advisor is Prof. Vivek Sarkar

Research:
Currently working on adapting Intel's Concurrent Collections (CnC) to CPUs, GPUs and the Customizable Heterogeneous Platform in the NSF Expeditions Center for Domain-Specific Computing (CDSC). This CnC implementation builds on Habanero C programming language currently being developed at Rice.

During the Summer of 2011, I worked at IBM T.J Watson Reseach Center, in the Liquid Metal team, exploring runtime issues in the Lime language, in the general area of heuristics and optimizations for task management on heterogenous platforms.

During the Summer of 2012, I worked at Sandia National Laboratories with Kyle Wheeler and the QThreads team creating QT-CnC, a data-flow model based on the QThreads library and exploring research opportunities for using this model for emerging architectures. Try it out here.
