Community

We are committed to creating an encouraging, peaceful, and supportive community in which everyone shares in giving and receiving spiritual, emotional, and physical support for facing the unique challenges of graduate school.

Thinking God through Faith

We embrace the idea that our graduate work is intricately connected to our Christian walk. Our intellectual engagement with our work helps us to approach our faith with thoughtfulness and consideration. We encourage questions and we look to each other and to history to help us find ways to answer them. We recognize that searching genuinely and humbly for truth will enable us to present our faith to others in a non-judgmental, intelligent, and Christ-centered way.

Knowing God through Experience

We choose to live spiritual lives. This means relying on God as father, friend, counselor, comforter, defender, and Lord. We are a community whose members seek to touch the heart of God through worship, fellowship, and personal reflection. We affirm Christ's ability to mend brokenness. By faith, we hope to cultivate hearts and minds that prize, above all else, the treasure of knowing and living for Christ.
