DrJava is a lightweight development environment for writing Java programs. It is designed primarily for students, providing an intuitive interface and the ability to interactively evaluate Java code. It also includes powerful features for more advanced users. DrJava is available for free under the DrJava Open Source License, and it is under active development by the JavaPLT group at Rice University.

A new beta release of DrJava (drjava-beta-20060120-1852) is now available with improvements from the recent development releases! Please help us test this version in preparation for the next stable release.

The current stable release for DrJava is drjava-stable-20060127-2145.
This version supports Java 1.4 and Java 1.5.

This stable release for DrJava is drjava-stable-20040326.
It supports Java 1.3 and Java 1.4.
