COMP110 - Module and Homework Submission
How to submit your module or homework for COMP110
All homeworks and modules will be submitted electronically. The graded assignments will
be returned as Mathematica notebooks with grade and TA comments embedded in them.
Instruction
- Download the submission program.
- Start the program.
- Windows or Mac: double click on the the jar file.
- Linux: type "java -jar COMP110Submit.jar" from the command line.
- Select the proper student name and enter password (last four digits of your student ID).
If you are working on a module by yourself, please select your name for both Student A and Student B.
- Select the module/homework.
- Choose the file to submit.
- Click on the Submit button.
Why didn't it work?
- When using Internet Explorer, it might try to save the jar file as a zip file.
Use another browser if possible. If not, then you would need to rename the extension of
the file. This requires that you have your Windows set to display extensions (In Tools->Folder Options.)
After you can see the extension, then right click to rename .zip to .jar
- If you cannot double click on the jar file, then you might not have the latest version
of the Java Runtime. Click here.
- If you cannot run the program, also try updating your Java Runtime.

Additionally...
- If you are submitting a multi-file assignment, make sure none of the files you submit have the same file names. And repeat the last two steps of the instructions for each file you want to submit.
- If you would like to change your password, please email me (powei.feng@rice.edu.)
