start it with "nyet m" for mono mode (we prefer this to the arbit colour set it shows pieces in).
Download.. the original nyet.exe. Levels prior to eight are not worth playing. Levels eight and nine are like two different games, with different strats etc. One usually maintains different hiscore tables for the two levels, by playing them in different directories. It's pretty irritating when one accidentally plays one in the other directory etc. Hence hacked versions.. 8n.exe and 9n.exe executables. Hiscore tables, dominated desperately by nerd and chacko, like nerd's got a 27000 8nyet score, are here.. 8nyet and 9nyet. My own nyet8 hiscore table is here, way below the rest, with max at 19k :( it's getting better.. sloowly..
