Your poem today jogs a memory of my school history where I learned that the
populace was so enamoured with Queen Caroline of England (spouse of George
II) that a popular ditty ran:
Oh gracious Queen we thee implore
To go away and sin no more
Or if that effort be too great
To go away at any rate.
