DrScheme vs. DrScheme Jr

DrScheme Jr is the text-only version of DrScheme. It provides only the Scheme interaction part of DrScheme in a shell window. There is no support for editing files and no graphics library. The DrScheme distribution includes DrScheme Jr, but a separate, smaller DrScheme Jr distribution is also available.

This Companion focuses primarily on DrScheme, but any explanation that is not directly related to the graphical interface applies equally well to DrScheme Jr.
