Nicole Mitchell (CS ’18) is the recipient of the Adobe Research Women-in-Technology Scholarship.
The scholarship recognizes outstanding undergraduate and masters female students anywhere in the world who are studying computer science.
Mitchell received a $10,000 scholarship.
“I'm incredibly grateful for the scholarship, and plan to use it to fund my studies,” she said.
“I'm excited to join the Adobe Research community. This award will allow me to connect with other scholars, gain a supportive network of women in tech, and seek out guidance and advice from my Adobe Research mentor. I hope that through this award I can inspire other women to pursue careers in computer science,” Mitchell said.
Mitchell is graduating this month with a bachelor’s degree in CS and capstone in Design. She starts her master’s degree in January through the Rice CS Graduate Research Fellowship in Dr. Lydia Kavraki's lab.
