TeachJava! -- The New AP Curriculum

The TeachJava! Workshop builds on the TeachScheme! Workshop which has pioneered an innovative approach to computational problem solving that stresses systematic data-directed program design. Many teachers now use TeachScheme! as their pre-AP curriculum. The TeachJava! Project provides a gentle transition path to the Java AP curriculum.

The Project provides:

• free workshops
• free on-line notes and exercises
• free innovative software that supports a friendly programming interface
• free consultation

The workshop is free but participants will have to cover most of their travel costs. Some meals will be provided.
