TeachJava -- Using Language Levels to Gently Teach AP Java

The TeachJava Workshop shows teachers how to leverage the DrJava programming environment to teach a object-oriented in the the first year college curriculum or College Board AP course. The DrJava environment supports a series of progressively richer language levels that enable beginning students to write object-oriented programs (using OO design patterns) from day one of the curriculum.

The workshop is free but participants will have to cover most of their travel costs. Some meals will be provided.
