CONFERENCE REGISTRATION 

Your registration must be  RECEIVED by February 15, 1998. 

To register for WAFR: 

1. Completely fill out the registration form below.  Make check or
   money order (in U.S. $ ONLY, drawn on a U.S. bank) payable to
   ``Rice University'' and send both to the address given at the
   bottom of this form.
 
2. Send an email notification for your registration 
	BEFORE February 15, 1998 
   to the following address: 
	robot@cs.rice.edu

You need to make your own hotel reservations.

 
HOTEL RESERVATIONS

You need to make your own hotel reservations. Look at the web
page of WAFR (http://www.cs.rice.edu/~kavraki/WAFR) for detailed 
instructions. In summary: 

The Wyndham Warwick Hotel will be providing accommodations for WAFR'98. 
The Wyndham neighbors Rice University, is 3 miles from downtown Houston, 
and is in the heart of the Museum District. 

Tell the reservationist that you are attending the WAFR'98 conference at
Rice and you will get the following special rates:
Standard Room (one king-size bed or two double beds), $75 per night
Junior Suite (larger room than Standard, same beds), $105 per night 
(Make sure that when you make your reservation you give the full name
of the workshop "Workshop on Algorithmic Foundations of Robotics" and
not the acronym WAFR.) 

       These rates are valid only through February 15, 1998!

If you are unsure of whether you will be attending the conference, it 
is best to make a reservation by February 15, then cancel if you cannot 
attend.  Cancelations can be made up to 4pm on the first day of 
your reservation.

The registration fee includes breakfast and coffee breaks for the 
three days of the conference, a dinner, a BBQ, preprints of the 
proceedings and the WAFR'98 book that will be mailed to you later in
