Okay, I was about to make a two-week trip to Europe. I didn't relish the thought of lugging my heavy camera bag along, so I broke down, followed the advice from photo.net, and bought a Yashica T4-Super, point-and-shoot.

I decided to warm-up with the camera in New York. The day I was there happened to be foggy and overcast. I decided to try for the Cartier-Bresson foggy-Paris look.

Battery Park. The Statue of Liberty is in the distance in the second photo.

New York is just full of people and signs. Everywhere you go.
